Our Committee demands the release of Munira Hammo. We condemn the arrest of Baderkhan Ibrahim and demand that his family is informed about his whereabouts, and the reasons for his arrest. We demand that he is referred to a civil court if he has committed an act punishable by law, or that he is released.

Our Committee also condemns the arbitrary arrests that are made outside the framework of law and without an order of the court. The number of such arrests has increased in recent years to include hundreds of Kurdish citizens. We call for the release of all political detainees, the abolition of martial law and lifting of the State of Emergency in the country.
