According to Syrian Human Rights Committee – MAD – on 23 November 2009 at 4am, an armed patrol from state security division raided the home of Noori Ibrahim Shekho, a Kurdish man living in Sheikh Maqsood area of Aleppo city, Syria. His family has not received any information about where he is being kept, and has no idea of the charges that may be brought against him. Noorti Ibrahim Sheikho was born in 1964 in Draqli village near Afrin town. He is married with five sons.
This is another example of an arrest of a Kurdish man whose family is left without any information of his whereabouts, or of what is happening to him. This causes considerable distress to the families of those who have been taken in this seemingly arbitrary manner.
